Busy, Busy!

I am absolutely thrilled beyond words that I have The Damned Muse up and running on Etsy, and am now part of the PagansOfEtsy Street Team (POEST).

I have always been an artsy person, always drawing and painting, and just recently in the past five years, teaching myself how to make jewelry. I started with some wretched pieces, mostly bracelets on wire string (I think it's called Tiger Wire?). It's good, if you know how to use it and it works for your purposes, but at the time, I was HORRIBLE at figuring out how to use it to string beads.. and I still wasn't creating what I saw in my head.

So I moved on to sterling silver wire, which I love. I recently added copper and gold filled wire, though I am beginning to prefer copper now. I love how it shines so brightly and how it looks with the stones, crystals, and minerals I use.

Where do I get my inspiration? From lots of places - a friend's poetry, a LiveJournal challenge, storms raging outside, and my Damned Muse occasionally tosses me into a frenzy of ideas and sketches. I don't know yet if She has a name, or maybe She's just another aspect of one of my Goddesses, but I am thankful for Her influence on my art and my life.

A little about me:

I am what I consider an eclectic pagan, with roots in various traditions and belief systems. I am tolerant of all spiritual and religious beliefs, as long as they are tolerant of me and mine. I believe everyone has the right to love who they love, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. And I believe in the evolution of our Selves.

What to expect from this Blog:

Updates of what I'm doing, what I have for sale, and occasionally, a request for a challenge of some sort.
